Eclipse is growing rapidly and aggressively and as a result, we are expanding our network of model bookers/agents. Due to our diverse array of models, which include high end to low end, tall to short, plus size to petit, children to mature and everything else in-between, we are on a recruitment drive for equally diverse and talented model bookers. Eclipse was set up primarily to assist aspiring models in getting as much paid work as possible – and in any area. The vast majority of our models are easy going and versatile and thus, are up for most things. The agency was also set up to combat the growing array of scams in the industry whereby unscrupulous studios extract hundreds if not thousands of Pounds from unsuspecting yet eager models hopeful in getting into the industry.
Whilst Eclipse is London based [being the fashion capital], our models stem from all areas of the UK and so too, the work as well. So, expect to be finding models work on both a national and [where possible], international scale. If you have a passion for the industry but have little or no experience in model booking, please feel free to also apply, as training will be given.
We aim to make not just a difference but a big one. To this end, we are actively on the lookout for talented people that have a proven knack for getting models of all shapes and sizes paid work.
To be discussed based on experience.
South London but you can work from home on a freelance basis.
Your role will NOT be to scout new models for the agency but instead, to find them work of any description as long as it is paid.
This also means you will need to not be the shy type and afraid of cold calling. This is because part of finding new business for the agency will be to seek out new clients by any means necessary.
You will also be responsible for finding companies and parties advertising for models on social media and other outlets. Having located them, you will be responsible for introducing our models to these clients and, among other things, negotiating rates.
To primarily place our models on all manners of paid assignments, but also have secondary duties. These will include representing the agency to the public eye. It also means that you will need to be assertive and well-organized.
You must also be someone the models can depend on, especially when dealing with our underage models. Needless to say, you will also be responsible for always ensuring the safety of the models under your command.
So, if you are interested in this golden opportunity and want to not only grow with the agency but also get in touch. Whilst we are situated in South London, opportunities also exist for part-time and bookers that wish to work from home.
It goes without saying that the primary reason why models agree to sign up with Eclipse is to get paid assignments. In turn, and as a booker, the process will entail reviewing the details of every new job and matching them up with the statistics and qualities of Eclipse’s group of models. This will entail developing your sense of awareness and paying close attention to detail. Your role will also entail negotiating terms of the contracts the client has with the [Eclipse] model – and of course, fees.
The agency will support you in every way possible, including funding advertising. However, you as the model booker will be expected to direct the agency as to where best to optimize its resources in order to attain the best results. You will also be expected to seek out other avenues, such as clients that have a regular need for models. This means that you will need to not be shy on the phones or arranging client meetings if and when necessary.
As the role will call for a lot of multitasking on a regular basis, you must be someone that is detail-oriented, skilled in juggling multiple tasks, and able to handle the several important decisions that may be needed on any given day. You will also regularly serve as a go-between, handling interactions between the agency’s models and the other clients we represent. Needless to say, it will be your responsibility to ensure our models show up on time and are ready to work; if any of them behave unprofessionally, it reflects badly on the agency.
